Our home health care professionals range from trained caregivers and sitters to highly skilled licensed pediatric and neonatal trained nurses. Experienced in pediatric patient care, our caregivers and nurses receive clinical support and supervision 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For those with long-term disabilities, we provide the necessary in-home services, including a dedicated respiratory therapist, to offer additional care options in lieu of long-term facility care.
Children have unique physical, psychological and developmental needs that require specialized care. That's why MSN HomeCare nurses are specifically screened, trained and qualified to provide pediatric home care. The well-being of your children and families is our highest priority. And thanks to technological advances, pediatric home health care has become a viable alternative to a health care facility, since patients and their families often times prefer to receive care in the comfort of their own homes.
Our pediatric nursing (skilled) home care begins with the development of a written, detailed plan of care. It continues with ongoing case management and physician consultations when necessary. Services can be arranged for a few hours a week or as many as 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week, depending on the patient's needs or the physician's orders. Short-term respite relief or longer-term care is available seven days a week, including holidays. Our employees can also assist in training the family in care procedures. This not only keeps the interruption of day-to-day living to a minimum, but also helps assure that the patient always receives the best and most appropriate care.
