  • What can I expect when I call for services?

  • We want to make our services as easy and affordable for you as possible, so we start with a free, comprehensive in-home assessment. We then create a written and detailed care plan that offers safe, competent, compassionate care for you or your loved ones' unique needs.

  • How soon can home care services start after I contact you?

  • In most cases we can start care within 24 hours of the in-home assessment.

  • Is it possible to receive private duty care for more than one family member?

  • Yes, we provide a full range of private duty services.

  • Is there a minimum number of hours that I can request care for myself or family member?

  • MSN HomeCare personnel can be assigned to a flexible schedule that's best suited to a patient's needs, ranging from 4 hours to 24 hours a day.

  • Is it possible to arrange for care on an intermittent or on-call basis?

  • MSN HomeCare can be there for you whenever you need us, for as long as you need us, including holidays.

  • I have multiple payer sources. Will this present any problems?

  • MSN HomeCare coordinates billing with multiple insurance companies and payer sources.

  • What types of payment do you accept?

  • MSN HomeCare accepts many insurance plans, major credit cards, cash and cashier's checks.

  • Do you need a doctor's order to start care?

  • MSN HomeCare does not require a doctor's order for non-medical care (sitters, CNAs HHAs and companions). However, Skilled Nursing (care provided by LVNs or RNs) does require a physician's order.

  • My family member or I have a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order. Is care still available to us?

  • Yes, MSN HomeCare will discuss your unique needs and find a solution that provides for the exact services you require.

  • Can you provide a companion/nurse if I need to travel out of town or state?

  • Yes. However, if we do not have a caregiver available for travel, we may be able to arrange a nurse for you or your family member from one of our nationwide Medical Staffing Network Healthcare. nurse staffing offices.

  • I do not have any real medical problems, but need help getting bathed and dressed for the day, as well as some light housekeeping help. Can I still receive care from you?

  • Do you offer live-in services?

  • MSN HomeCare can provide live-in services. Please contact your local office for details.

  • My parent lives with us and we have to go out of town for a family event. Can you provide private duty care while we're away?
